Oh hey there!
How's your week been so far? I spent much of it up in London training some wonderful teams and then back to Bournemouth for more workshops with brilliant humans, and some incredible trots on the beach with the hound. The sea was nothing short of immense - reminding you just how powerful Mother Nature really is.
Which brings me to a nice segway into ghosts and the supernatural (well, I mean, it kind of does!)
And, my question is this: Do you live in a haunted house?
I was thinking about this metaphor the other day and how powerful it is when we think about our subconscious.
You know, the ghosts of the past that take up residence in our brains: old beliefs, lingering doubts, and patterns you didn’t even realise were quietly running the show.
Personally, for years, these ghosts shaped everything in how I saw the world and what I projected onto others. They showed up in how I connected with people (or didn’t), how I tackled challenges (often badly), and even in how I viewed myself (I imagine you won’t be shocked to hear that this wasn’t always in the best light).
But here’s the thing - awareness of them meant things began to change. Bit by bit, I’ve learnt to recognise the ghosts and gently challenge them a little more rather than letting them run the show with their supernatural powers.
Don’t get me wrong, they’re not gone. I’m still learning and figuring out how to get on better terms with them and make them feel a bit more integrated when they pop up uninvited. Indeed, the less scary I find them, the less power they actually have.
So, what about you? Do you know what ghosts might be lurking in your haunted house - and how they’re influencing the way you work, connect, or show up in the world?
Have wonderful and hopefully not spooky week, my friends!
