Oh hey there,
I hope you've had a brilliant and productive week.
I’ve been working with a couple of clients on how they can turn their strategies into actionable plans.
Now, I am absolutely one for creating a big, energising goal but they can feel overwhelming without clarity on the 'how'. So, that's where this work comes in and it has been a fascinating exercise - one that transforms ambitious goals into practical realities.
For example:
- How do we improve feedback and communication in real terms?
- What does role-modelling respectful behaviour actually look like?
- How do we create a culture of openness and honesty, step by step?
But it’s not just about the plan itself. What struck me most during these sessions was how these conversations brought the teams closer together.
You know what it's like, we're all so busy in the doing, it's a rare day that teams carve out time for these deeper, strategic discussions. So, when they finally sit down to map out the 'how' behind their goals, something shifts.
It creates space for:
- Clarity: Everyone gets on the same page about what’s expected.
- Honest conversations: Things that might normally go unsaid - like frustrations, misunderstandings, or hidden expectations - can be addressed constructively.
- A sense of unity: Teams walk away with a shared understanding and a feeling of we’re in this together.
So, I invite you to reflect:
- What are your big goals?
- How can you make them tangible, one step at a time?
If you work in a team, bring everyone together to really collaborate on the answer. You'll be amazed at not only the magic you can create together but also where the best ideas come from. The key is starting small. Turning big ideas into simple, clear actions is absolutely the answer!
Have a brilliant week,
