How Does it Work?

The PUSH Mental Health for Managers programme has been expertly designed to give your managers the tools and skills needed to successfully build and instil a culture of positive mental health that is vital for both their teams' and their own mental health and long-term productivity.

Employees will be taken through a series of 4 modules, which are the essential building blocks for enabling managers to support the mental health and wellbeing of their teams. At the completion of each module, they will receive a badge, leading them to the successful completion of the programme. Outside of the live sessions, their learning is supported by digital worksheets which allow them to start implementing what they have learnt in real-world settings.

This module will introduce the topic of mental health, it will also explore the effects and experience of mental health, and the difference between temporary, fluctuating and ongoing mental health conditions.

Taking Care of your mental health blue graphic

Learn to take care of yourself before you take care of others. Explore self-care strategies like sleep hygiene, physical activity, a brain-healthy diet and create a Wellness Action Plan to understand your working styles, stress triggers and responses.

Giving your team a voice will help them become more engaged, strengthening your relationship. This module helps you to give and receive feedback in a constructive way. You'll create action points to maintain motivation and productivity

Our last module covers the discussion of mental health with empathy, while maintaining boundaries. Learn the role of reassuring language, tone, body language, openness and creating a safe environment for your team to feel at ease.
